The tasks require the child to name the stimuli, which consist of colors and pictures of known objects (in the M version), also numbers and letters (in the S version), as fast as possible. The test may be used in the psychological practice to prognosticate and diagnose school problems, especially with reading and writing. It also gives information useful when diagnosing impulsiveness characteristic to ADHD, and when measuring the mental capacity under time pressure.
