The SPR-2 questionnaire is based on the same theoretical foundation as its original version, the Parental Attitudes Scale  SPR. The present tool is an abbreviation of the SPR, allowing to examine young people in a more efficient and economical way. The number of items included in the original version was 75, whereas in the new abbreviated version it is only 45. The test consists of five scales referring to five parental attitudes: accepting-rejecting, overdemanding, autonomous, inconsistent and overprotective.
