PROCEDURE
Inidividual administration. The standard procedure involves modular examination (to examine selected areas of individual functioning). The average examination time: intelligence (14 tests) – about 90 minutes; executive functions (4 tests) – about 30 minutes; competences: psychomotoric skills (3 tests) – about 20 minutes; socio-emotional competences (3 tests) – about 15 minutes; school competences (4 tests) – 30-60 minutes depending on the subject's age; work attitude (2 tests) – about 7 minutes

The IDS-2 is a tool designed for a thorough evaluation of skills and competences in persons aged 5–20. The battery includes 30 tests to examine cognitive skills and competences. Since the IDS-2 consists 30 tests it can be applied for many different purposes including: assessment of intellectually disabled persons, assessment of persons with poor school performance, assessment of readiness for school, identification of children suspect of various disorders, and assessment of persons with outstanding skills.
