Third Edition of the KKS

One minute reading • Monday, September 16, 2024

We are pleased to announce the release of the updated version of the Social Competence Questionnaire (KKS).

The third edition of the KKS includes changes based on research conducted between 2022 and 2023: new norms for individuals aged 14–19 and 20–29, new data on the questionnaire’s reliability and validity, and updated interpretive guidelines. Additionally, this edition of the KKS includes a consolidated sheet from the two earlier versions, M and D (some items have been slightly modified, and some expressions have been modernized).

The KKS is used to assess social competence, understood as acquired skills that determine a person’s effectiveness in various social situations. It can be applied both in diagnostic practice (clinical counseling, career guidance) and for selection purposes, as well as in scientific research.
