Professor Anna Matczak, after nearly thirty years of work, is stepping down from her position as Head of the Research Department in the Pracownia. Prof. Matczak is a distinguished scientist with an impressive record in the field of individual differences psychology, intelligence, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal competencies. She is the author of many valued tools currently used for both scientific and diagnostic purposes. For over a quarter of a century, Professor Matczak led the Research Department in the Pracownia. It was under her watchful eye, that most of our own tests and adaptations of foreign tools were developed. For us, however, Professor Matczak is something more – she is a member of our family, a warm, attentive, incredibly wise person who offers her help.
Professor, we wish you all the best from the bottom of our hearts!
The operation of the Pracownia has been so linked with Professor Matczak's activities for so many years that it is hard for us to imagine our company without her constant presence. Therefore, we are pleased that the Professor will continue to support us as a member of the Pracownia’s Board.
Since the beginning of this year, the research work of the Pracownia has been led by Dr. Jan Cieciuch, professor at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University. Professor Cieciuch is a respected specialist in the field of personality psychology and its measurement. He has been associated with the Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University's Institute of Psychology for many years. He is the author of many international publications. Professor Cieciuch's name appears in subsequent editions of the "The World’s Top 2% Scientists" – a list of the 2% most frequently cited researchers from around the world in all scientific disciplines. We are convinced that the Professor is the right person to lead the Research Department activities, and his work will contribute to the further development of the Pracownia.
Professor, we wish you good luck!
