WISC®-V in psychological diagnosis

One minute reading • Wednesday, May 17, 2023

We are pleased to announce that the book WISC®-V w diagnozie psychologicznej (WISC®-V in psychological diagnosis) written by the authors of the Polish adaptation of the WISC®-V scale: Prof. Anna Matczak, Aleksandra Jaworowska, PhD, Joanna Stańczak and Iwona Bac is already on sale.

The book WISC®-V w diagnozie psychologicznej (WISC®-V in psychological diagnosis) is neither a duplication of WISC®-V textbooks, nor does it replace them. It presents the Scale and its capabilities in a differently organized way, discussing in the successive chapters: individual tests, all indicators (including two new ones relating to the assessment of crystallized intelligence – Extended Verbal Index and fluent – Extended Fluid Intelligence Index), results obtained on the WISC®-V by children from different special groups, and examples of diagnostic reasoning based on two case studies. The last chapter collects answers to the most frequently asked questions.
