Computer ADHD diagnostic test
Radosław Wujcik, Maria Rafalak

This is going to be a new tool which enhances the ADHS diagnosis in children and adolescents aged 7-18. It will allow for an objective evaluation of cognitive deficits (attention, executive functions, working memory) and impulsiveness which together constitute the two principal ADHD symptoms. Examination involves six tasks engaging selected cognitive functions. The tasks are inspired by methods used in experimental cognitive psychology and modified for the purposes of psychological and psychiatric diagnosis. When designing the test tasks a great number of publications were taken into account which refer to profiles of cognitive deficits diagnosed in ADHD patients. During the examination indices are registered based on the examinees' errors and reactions times. Final scores will be calculated with the help of advanced psychometric models.
