Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised
Michael Rutter, Ann LeCouteur, Catherine Lord

A semi-structured interview designed to diagnose autism and often used together with the ADOS-2. It belongs to the „golden standard” of the autism assessment and allows to differentiate the ASD and other developmental disorders. It includes (among others) questions concerning early development, acquisition and loss of linguistic and other skills, as well as social development and playing. The interviewees are parents or guardians of the assessed person. The ADI-R brings scores on the three scales: CommunicationSocial interactions and Patterns of behaviours and interests. Good psychometric characteristics justify the use of the ADI-R in clinical practice as well as in the scientific research.

Polish adaptation of the ADI-R was co-authored by Izabela Chojnicka, Ewa Pisula.
