ASRS or Autism Spectrum Rating Scale is designed to assess and measure behaviours associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). ASD can be described as biologically conditioned set of behaviours which can occur on many different levels and may be more or less severe. ASD is a complicated clinical term but a set of questionnaires ASRS may significantly facilitate assessment and treatment of autism spectrum disorders.

CUIDA questionnaire is designed to rate candidates for adoptive parents, guardians, foster-parents, and mediators. The questionnaire allows to assess personality variables, parenting styles, and a person's ability to provide care for a biological child, an adopted child, a child in a foster family or  in child-care institution. It is also designed to measure an ability to take care of dependent persons such as the elderly, ill, or disabled.

CDI-2 is a complete set of diagnostic tools which allow a thorough assessment of depression symptoms in children aged 7-18. CDI-2 describes the child from three different perspectives: his/her own, that of a parent (or guardian) and a teacher.

We have not said much about it yet but we have just started working on the Polish adaptation of IDS-2, or Intelligence and Development Scales for Persons Aged 5-20.  IDS-2 consists of thirty subtests which assess cognitive skills, management functions, psycho-motoric skills, socio-emotional competence, school competence and attitudes towards work.

The Psychological Test Laboratory has actively participated in the international conference on computerized adaptive testing. The conference organized by the International Association for Computerized and Adaptive Testing (IACAT) was held in Cambridge UK in September 2015.

Two years after the IDS Scales had gone for sale we decided to ask their users about their opinions concerning the test. These opinions were supposed to be used 1) to improve further the tool itself by adapting it to the users' needs, and 2) in the adaptation research of the new version of the IDS (IDS-2) designed for children and youngsters aged 5-20 years.

Children Development Scale DSR created by the Laboratory now has its Lithuanian version – Vaiko Raidos Skales VRS. It was published by the National Center for Special Education and Psychology (Specialiosios pedagogikos ir psichologijos centras) based in Vilnius. This is an institution overseen  directly by the Lithuanian Ministry of Education and Sciences and working on the development of the system of special educational and psychological support in Lithuania.

The questionnaire consists of 75 statements which respondent handles using a 4-grades scale. The items are selected to reflect basic symptoms related to decreasing mood such as energy loss, anhedonia, suicidal thoughts, pessimism and guilt-feeling.

The new test published by the Laboratory will be available for purchase this autumn - Leadership Styles Inventory WERK. It is designed especially for use in business and, particularly, by the HR specialists.

The four leadership styles model WERK was developed as a response to organizations's increasing needs to:

Intelligence and Development Scales for Children Aged 5-10 have been available on our offer since spring 2013 and became very popular in Poland over that period. Interest in the IDS interpretation training equaled that in the tool itself. For the two and a half years we have been able to train about 900 people: both those participating in the training sessions organized by the Laboratory and those who invited the Laboratory staff to carry out training for them at their companies or institutions.
